February 7, 2024 – Iowa State University Sukup Club

Iowa State University Athletic Department retained Dr. Tice to work with their athletes in awareness of and proficiency in important life skills via dining manners. Nearly forty athletes from nine different sports found time in their very busy schedules to attend the dinner. (The basketball players had just returned to Ames at 1:30 AM after beating the Texas Longhorns. Yet, they were dressed up for dinner and ready to learn.) The buffet-style dinner provided a rare opportunity for athletes to learn the finer points of dining, including approaching the chair, how to handle the napkin and how to start and maintain a meaningful conversation with table mates. No elbows on the table.

Thank you so much for continuing to support the men Of FarmHouse through the etiquette dinner. This is such a formative experience for our new members, as well as the rest of the men in the house. We greatly appreciate you spending your time and effort on the betterment of the men of FarmHouse Fraternity, we all had an amazing time and are thankful for you and your husband's kindness, wisdom, and sincerity.
